Why I would live at Villa Grieta
What stayed with me after this visit was the quiet. Greenery around the house, room for family and Yal-Ku Lagoon nearby. I could imagine living here myself.
Villa Grieta is a ready-built home in Akumal, in a small gated community of 15 villas. The asking price is USD 2,100,000, with approximately 566 m² (6,092 sq ft) of construction on a 1,200 m² (12,917 sq ft) lot.
There are four main bedrooms plus a separate room of about 40 m² (431 sq ft), currently occupied by staff. We did not film that room out of respect for their privacy. Furniture, decor and appliances shown in our tour are included in the asking price.
The garden pool, rooftop pool, terraces and handcrafted wood and stone details give the house its character. Access to Yal-Ku Lagoon and three cenotes is included under the community arrangements. The lagoon is a shared natural setting, not part of the private lot.
